Jamie B. Hanniga

Jamie creates beautiful book sculptures, among other things. In her own words: “I go through phases, and I’ve learned to embrace that in my work. I create the things I want to make at that exact moment. If just one other person finds enjoyment in what my imagination led me to produce, I consider it a success.”

Infinite Echoes: Embracing Nietzsche’s Eternal Return

A hought experiment where we are challenged to imagine reliving every moment of our lives for eternity, reflecting on intentionality. I love the idea  of Nietzsche’s Eternal Return, exploring the consequences of life existing in an unending cycle.  The piece is a look into the philosophical insights on Amor Fati (love of fate) and the personal implications of embracing life in its entirety.
